What is Art Consulting?
I will help you and/or your organization select artwork you are passionate about and that has relevance to the space- home, business, hotel, etc.
What do I mean by relevance?
I am currently working on a project at a lodge in Little Cottonwood Canyon. The artwork that is being replaced is dated and has no connection to the location of the hotel. I am now thoughtfully replacing the artwork with artists that love and make artwork in Little Cottonwood Canyon. When complete the lodge will have artwork by artists that have passion for the canyon and the artwork reflects various places within the canyon.
If I were to help you sort out what might be relevant for your project there are many factors and questions to answer. Certainly, they will vary depending on the project but I will help guide you as well as connecting you with artists that reflect your style needs, and wants. I will help you with art selection, framing, matting, placement, and installation.
Here is an image I took at last years Wasatch Art Soiree. This year will be just as amazing! A great evening where food, fun, art, and entertainment meet and mingle. Don't forget to buy your tickets for August 21st. http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/1633520
This month is Great Outdoors awareness Month.
"A truly American idea, the State and National Parks of this country represent our naturalheritage. North and south, east and west, they stretch from the edges of our maps to the hearts of our cities, covering nearly one-third of this nation. This June, celebrate the natural wonder and outdoor spirit of America by getting outside during Great Outdoors Month. Once you come outside, you'll never want to go back inside." - Great Outdoors Month

One favorite image from a wedding I photographed in downtown Salt Lake. Sometimes we don't need to see peoples faces to understand how they feel.
