"We had so much fun working with Gillian! After seeing her work framed in the wedding coordinator's office at Snowbird (one was of a couple's shadow silhouette kissing and the other was an action shot of a skier), we had to call her up! We didn't interview anyone else after seeing her work. We were very impressed with her range of abilities. Though we didn't end up doing engagement photos on skis, it was so great to actually have that option! For the wedding, we really didn't give Gillian a lot of direction. After seeing her work, we just wanted to let her creative side dictate the shots. We're very happy we did. There was a great mix of posed and candid shots. Fantastic angles. Sweet moments captured. And going through all the photos felt like watching a video of the wedding, which made us feel justified in not hiring a videographer in addition to a photographer. We are also very happy we paid for her secondary photographer as well. I'm confident Gillian can do a great job by herself, but it was so fun to have various angles of those special shots! Gillian was professional, quick (which is important when you have a long session of wedding party and family shots!), and fun.
